I found this clay casserole by accident one day whilst out browsing. It has a makers mark on the bottom, but is difficult to make out, even with a magnifying glass. It about a 2 quart with a glazed interior. I love it, and it has such a nice patina and lots of character. The brown ware was quite popular around the early 20th century.
